ME, MYSELF & WANG

Tuesday, 2 March 2010

OK, well not quite. The sunglasses are Wang inspired. Less inspired, and more like some costume glasses that happen to look like Wangs - they were on Luxirare here not long ago, and since I can't emulate her in making amazing crayon-shaped snacks or actual shoes, I figured these babies take me one step closer to living the Luxirare dream. You can find them on Ebay here or, if you're Wanging for the real deal, Net-a-Porter will serve you well.

Yes, I am wearing sunglasses indoors and yes, I am spending my Tuesday evening taking webcam pictures of myself. My excuse is that I have fashion week cold, a million illustration commissions to work on, and quite frankly, trying on my new ASOS swing shirt seemed like a far more enticing option than venturing into cold, dark Soho. Speaking of ASOS, I should like to commend them on their tip top customer service - I stupidly gave them my old work address and they resent ANOTHER shirt to the proper address with next day delivery. Awesome.

  3. I am seriously considering how to justify spending £270 of the good old student loan on a pair of Giles Deacon for Linda Farrow specs. Failing that, the Wangs, until I manage to get hold of some knock-offs...surely Topshop will provide??

PS. there's a luvly shot of you and lucy on Eight.

  4. Haha Love how everyone is posting about sunglasses now at the first glimpse of Spring. I just did one yesterday. Also, it's rude for me not to buy these sunnies...

  5. i was thinking about nabbing a pair of those myself! They look great on you. . . you should super-glue a bit of shiny tin-foil to the upper corners for an even more Wang look! xx
