Yep, I got another pair of Isabel Marant sneakers (the Bettys, to be precise). I realise it's utter madness (these are my third), but I have a few justifications:

1. I wear my other two pairs (the Willows and Bobbys) CONSTANTLY, particularly the Bobbys as they're so damn comfortable. Cost-per-wear and all that.
2. I'm really flat-footed and so wearing ballet slippers/flat boots all day results in agony. Not sure my doctor would say Isabel Marant sneakers are orthopaedic, however...
3. They make me HAPPY.
4. Natasha Goldenberg has this pair (plus about six other pairs) and Natasha Goldenberg RULES.

Justifications out of the way, the Betty sneakers are my new favourite. They're the only style still available on NET-A-PORTER (here) but they're quickly selling out since people seemed to have cottoned on. In fact, since I got them, two other girlfriends have been inspired to take the plunge.

I'm also obsessed with this new bag from Label:MB (available here) - it's the perfect size to fit my daily luggage (I don't pack light) and I love love LOVE the colour.

Oh and check out the coat I won from Natalie Hartley's blog! This plus my grey trackpants is basically like being in my pyjamas. So cosy. My boyfriend likes the coat less so, as it tends to cover him in blue fluff.

(Wearing H&M coat, Zara knit, Topshop trackpants, Isabel Marant sneakers, Label:MB bag.)

NB: I get lots of emails regarding Marant sneaker sizing and I'd say generally, you should size down if you're a half size, remembering also that French sizing is different to Italian shoe sizing. Eg. I am an IT 38 but I am a FR 39. If I was an IT 38.5 I'd still size down and go for the FR 39.

I never win ANYTHING. So when I entered Natalie Hartley's latest competition, I didn't hold out much hope. But... I WON! I'm not only stoked to win the coat but also to be picked by Natalie, an editor I have long admired.

The beautiful mint green coat arrived a couple of days ago and I can't wait to wear it. I'm also loving Natalie's Smythson HOPE notecards. Molto fabulous.

To enter you had to say how you'd style Natalie's mohair H&M coat. This was my entry:

"I would wear that mint green beauty with candyfloss hues. I'd offset the mint colour with a pale pink mohair sweater layered over a crisp white shirt, plus raw-hem white skinny jeans and a pair of Marant's Bobby sneakers in cream and white. Plus candyfloss/beehive hair and some lilac-framed sunglasses."

Outfit post on its way... Thanks, Natalie!
