SOZ FOR THE DIRTY MIRROR PHOTO - YOU'LL BE GLAD TO KNOW I HAVE SINCE POLISHED IT...
If you follow me on Instagram, you'll know that against all my better judgement (and about six seasons too late), I succumbed to the peplum. I blame ASOS and their irresistible little peplum lace top. I snapped up the cream version a few weeks ago, but have been hankering after the black ever since. Today, with a 25% off code in hand, I completed my mini peplum collection. It's my birthday in a few weeks and I plan on wearing the black version with these teeny velvet culottes I got in the Zara sale and some massive black velvet bow platforms. Demure vest or black bra - TBC...
I actually snapped up the last size in the black (disappeared after I checked out) but the cream and lilac are still available. Shop 'em here.
P.s. I haven't actually worn the cream with a black bra as above - the photo was purely for trying on purposes. Not even sure if I'm quite ready to do the see-through top thing.... I'll keep you posted.
P.p.s. I almost didn't include a photo of myself since the model looks so darn glorious with her lithe limbs and golden mane but hey, you can see what it looks like on A Real Person. Soz for the bad quality snap.

Yo! I have added a couple o' pieces to the shop - my red suede biker jacket and a fuzzy little bomber jacket. More to come in a couple of weeks....

Contrary to what seems to be popular opinion (at least on Twitter this morning), I rather like Valentine's Day. Whether I'm single or attached for it, it's an excuse to embrace all things kitsch and get baking (for boyfriend, colleagues, whoever!).
This year I baked LOTS of neon pink sugar hearts (had to change up the colour levels to convey exactly how fluorescent they are in real life) using this simple recipe, a heart cutter and some very strong red food colouring gel - guaranteed to fill the recipient with love and E-numbers.

Thanks to The Nyanzi Report, I am now obsessing over the personalised Louis Vuitton Neverfulls, as worn by the woman/the legend Francesca Burns. I usually prefer the LV monogram when it is suitably aged (I have a beaten up bucket bag) but, as always, I'm a sucker for personalisation (even if it does add £300 onto the price of the bag, in this case).
