THE PERFECT BOYFRIEND JEANS

Friday, 7 June 2013

I'd been searching for the perfect boyfriend jeans for a while now, not completely content with my much-worn Zara boyfriends (they're too ripped up for some occasions and the indigo wash isn't as versatile as a mid-blue) and not willing to shell out the £££ for the Acne Betty, because I just knew there was a high street version out there, somewhere, to satiate my baggy jean leanings.

I'm glad I waited because I found them, you guys. As soon as I saw this Noisy May pair on my friend Anneli, I had to have them. Anneli had been telling me how she hasn't taken them off, and I understand why. Mine haven't left my side - perfect with pointed pumps, ballet flats, sporty trainers and a seriously comfy alternative to my faithful skinnies. They are the perfect wash, rise (a little bit high-waisted) and fit (not too baggy, not too snug). I could go on... Haven't heard of Noisy May before? You will do. They're a new brand available on Vero Moda (a personal fave) and they do the most perfect jeans. Sigh.

I've also been meaning to post my new bling. In LOVE with my new personalised monogram necklace from oNecklace which I've been wearing with this pretty insane vintage necklace depicting my zodiac sign, Aries, a lucky Etsy find. I'm also loving my little heart pinky ring (another vintage Etsy purchase) and these delicate gold knuckle rings (also from Etsy - as you can see, I'm addicted). Regarding the knuckle rings, the gold plating has rubbed off after only a few wears, but they are the same price as some of the ASOS versions and have the benefit from being sterling silver underneath, so no green fingers.

And last but not least, I went on a very successful Portobello market haul last weekend and, amongst other treasures (on my 'to-blog' list), picked up this vintage Jaeger silk tee in my favourite colour (er, pink). It's the EXACT hue of my LK Bennett shirt, so naturally, I wear them together.

Wearing:
Vintage Jaeger Silk T-Shirt
LK Bennett Silk Shirt (similar here, here and here)
Vintage Aries Necklace (similar here)
Vintage Pinky Ring (similar here)
Christian Louboutin Piou Piou Pumps (similar here)
