You it's love - and I mean REAL love, lurve, L.O.V.E. - when it's stood the test of time, and this couldn't be truer of me and my Miu Miu. It started as an impromptu fling would... I was lonely and single and I'd been eyeing up the further reductions in the NET-A-PORTER sale, when I saw those dual-colour sequins. I knew it was irrational - I needed a classic black tote, not a spangly little evening bag. Before I knew it I was gaily clicking 'confirm order' and Miu Miu was mine. It started as a brief affair - a second date here, a third date there. Before I knew it, we were going steady. We went everywhere together, and not just after sun set - brunches, work, hair appointments...
Two years on, we're going strong. Other bags have come and gone - hell, a PS1 nearly came between us - but Miu Miu knows that I've always got a soft spot for sequins, day or night.

That's how it happens sometimes :) I have the same with my glittery Giuseppe Zanotti's. Wasn't going to buy anything and before I knew it I walked out of Dover Street Market with a bag in my hands. But somehow, they're still my favorite pair of shoes. Sparkle seems to go with everything ;)
