I'm a little bit obsessed with my new bouclé skirt from Motel. So much so that I have been wearing it come rain or shine, resulting in several sweaty (but I like to think stylish...sort of) situations. I wore it last week for a busy day of meetings (exciting stuff ahead!) together with a crisp white shirt and a very old Stella-alike Zara blazer.
I own a lot of white shirts (blame the ever chic Natalie Massenet, my previous boss and a loyal white shirt wearer) but haven't busted them out in a while. I felt compelled to unearth one of them after my friend Laura and I were chatting the other day. Laura was telling me how wonderful and stylish Ursula Lake (wünder-stylist and founder of Violet Lake) is, with whom she is working at the moment. My first question (obviously) was, 'what is her style like?' Laura's reply: 'Tailored black trousers, Manolos, a crisp white shirt and a Rick Owens leather jacket.' That was all the encouragement I needed to dig out one of my favourite button-ups. White shirts 4ever.
(Wearing Motel skirt, Boy. by Band of Outsiders shirt, Zara blazer and Isabel Marant Bobby sneakers.)

I love the idea of a whole closet with plenty of white blouses. They look so crisp and clean.

I dug out my white shirt the other day! It's quite manly though. Think I need a nice fitted one like yours! x
