A few weeks ago the lovely folks at Mister Spex UK asked me to take part in their Bloggers say: wear sunglasses campaign, asking me for my sunglass predictions for the season. Having been a loyal cat eye wearer for years, it was pretty obvious what I'd pick - and sure enough I haven't been able to tear myself away from my new Tom Ford Astrids since they landed on my doormat. They're a little a bit old Hollywood, part-fifties prep, part-eighties villain. I think Alexis Carrington would totally approve. This jazzy little blouse with power shoulder pads (which, by the way, was one of my most bargainous finds so far - about 40p from a recent trip to Thailand) seemed like the perfect accompaniment, as did the sideswept hair, enormous earrings and new Laura Lee signet ring (pictured below) - a present from my bf and my favorite new piece of jewellery.

Great blog, But I noticed that all of your outdoor photos have a harsh blue tint, I would suggest you adjust the white balance on your camera for outdoors as it seems like it is set for indoor tungsten lighting.
