To the untrained eye, I would appear, in this picture, to be on the telephone. In reality, I was merely using it as a prop whilst I danced to Telephone by Lady Gaga at my birthday party with my girlfriends and brother. Best. Night. Ever. I wore that H&M dress that I regretted not buying since seeing it on Shin (I luckily found it again and snapped it up), my Office velvet platforms and a big old velvet bow I picked up ages ago from Beyond Retro. Onto the many pictures...
Me and little Hughes looking dapper in a vintage blazer which I found with my own fair hands.
Me and Alice.
Happy birthday to meee!
P.s. I've booked a hair appointment with my favourite mane magician on Saturday - should I get a fringe? And none of this 'side fringe' nonsense - I'll have a full one or nothing please. Thoughts?
P.p.s. In other (hilarious) news, I'm in this week's issue of Australian Grazia! If anyone has a copy, a scan would be much appreciated.

your birthday looks amazing! i love the colour of that dress. seriously perfect.
ReplyDeletei think you'd look great with a strong fringe. would look lovely with all your big buns that you do. i like that combination of big thick buns and heavy fringes.

ReplyDeletei remember u really like that isabel marant jacket, cuz i really did too, and i just wanted to let u know that i saw a jacket in free people today that looks exactly like it but with more summery colors. and i bet its a lot cheaper, except i dont know how much that marant one cost. but oh well, just wanted to share.
happy birthday girl.
ReplyDeleteit really looks like you had a great time last night and i adore the idea of the h&m dress with the velvet bow - it looks just gorgeous.
concering the possible fringe - i'd say please please don't! even if your hairdresser has magic hands. i just love your centre parting and it looks perfect with long and wavy hair.
you're a real inspiration. thanks a lot!
hope you're stopping by sometime. i just started blogging ;)
xx R.

Happy Birthday Natalie!
ReplyDeleteYou look like you had a wonderful night. I'm glad you went back for that dress, as it's stunning and the colour is perfect on you.
I say a big YES to getting the fringe cut. It will really suit you, especially if you get it really blunt and thick looking, and perhaps curve the edges around your face slightly.
Make sure to show us a picture once it's cut!

Hey, i stumbled across your blog a couple of months ago and from the start i have always envied your middle part but then again it think a full fringe would really suit you with the top knot! But, i guess you wont know untill you try it! :)
