As you may or may not know, I have a very stylish brother. I like to think I taught him all he knows about fashion and music but sadly he has now trumped me in both and is officially cooler than me (and even has a cooler blog - check it out), so none of that really matters. We even co-ordinate by accident, see? Last week I went to visit him at Birmingham, where he goes to university, to perve on/listen to Owen Pallett (aka Final Fantasy). This is what we wore.
IT'S ALL SO MUCH FUN.
(Topshop shirt, Monki jumper, Topshop trousers, Gap boots, scarf from Make Lemonade and denim jacket an old friend gave to me a long time ago.)
We had to sit through 20 minutes of death metal (they call themselves progressive/electronic but whatever) to get to Owen but it was worth it. My ear drums are still bleeding...
Oh, Owen.
I rather liked Owen's partner in crime, Thomas Gill.
These were taken before the death metal, when we were hopeful that all we'd hear was twee, melodic singsongyness. (I busted out the ASOS shirt again.)
And I'll leave you with one of us on the train - little bro is rocking double denim and I clearly can't get enough of the Wang plait.
Toodles!

you are both gorgeous, great styling -love the tartan scarves! Loving your blog, we'll definitely be back, come follow TBAG if you fancy! Bonne nuit xx

ReplyDeletei feel the same way about my kid brother - taught him everything he knew, too - my boyfriend worked @ a recording studio & helped him put down his first track when he was 12- not to brag, but this is some of what he's done since:

love the shots - especially you in the purple jumper. would love to introduce our brothers somehow, if they're in the same country @ the same time. looks like a lovely weekend!
are you coming to the cupcake thing friday? xx
I'm so gutted Owen didn't come to Scotland on this tour! Jealous of your topshop trousers, I think I saw them on sale, hesitated, and lost my chance. Sad story!

How cute are you two? I hate my brother and love him in equal measures. The jumper is sweeeeet, and is that a non-made up face? You look really striking in the first pic.
