My parents came to visit at the weekend and we got DIY happy with cans upon cans of white paint. Living in a tiny rented flat means one has to be, ahem, creative. That means trying to look past the magnolia walls and biscuit-coloured, worse-for-wear waffle carpet, and adding a few CHEAP touches. My stack of Vogues hide a plain old Ikea chair. And don't you just LOVE those roses? My editor let us each take a vase after the conference. (They're from Purely Roses.)
These are just a few shots of my sitting room.

A potted rose (present from my Mum) plus, just a few of the many candles I own. I bought the little jars from the Conran Shop. Sorry for the poor picture quality.

The TV table was a charity shop find - we painted it white.

A little bit of Hermes orange in every room...

A few of my favourite coffee table books, and the cute little bottles of Chambord that were handed out during LFW. Plus my gin store...

Some reading material...

Darling those roses are divine!
